[SOLVED] Dynatron K985 fan not compatible with Z390-H mobo?

I have a dynatron K985 cpu fan that has screws that are supposed to just be screwed in to the motherboard. My old Z-170P, I'm now finding out, has grooves to screw the fan in. The 390 apparently does not. Am I missing something, or can you not use a CPU fan in the 390 that screws in? Or is there something I can get to ameliorate the problem? First time doing a full mobo switch on my own, so I didn't anticipate this possibly being an issue.

Z390 is LGA1151
