Hello I got a server from a friend of mine and he upgraded it about 10 years ago and now its in my hands I was trying to install Windows 10 but none of the 10 hdds showed up. What do i do?
Is there some way i can get windows 10 pro for free? You will have to try to find drivers that you can slipstream into your Windows 10 install media. I have no idea if any such drives can be found. The user's manual for that server show support for Windows server 2003.
Since that is a dual socket motherboard you will have to have Windows 10 Pro.
I think you can run it unactivated. You can download the media from Microsoft. Is there some way i can get windows 10 pro for free?

I know its old i was thinking it would be good for sia coin miningYou can install it and leave it Unactivated.
There will be a randomly appearing watermark at bottom right, and you get no customization of the TaskBar.
What do you plan to do with this 'server' ?
Just because it is/was a 'server'...doesn't mean this 15 year old thing is exceptionally powerful.
How much power does this thing consume?I know its old i was thinking it would be good for sia coin mining
Not sure but it has 2 725 watt psusHow much power does this thing consume?
No drives appear? That could be a multitude of things.
Which says nothing about how much power it consumes. Not sure but it has 2 725 watt psus
Im not gonna put a gpu in it im gonnna rent out hard drive space for money and its like a big as portable as turned on its sideWhich says nothing about how much power it consumes.
What GPU(s) do you plan to try to put in this thing for 'mining'?
Is this a thin blade server? If so, I hope you have a dedicated room for it. The garage, maybe.

That is because your installation image doesn't have drivers for the disk controller in the unit. That is where my original post of having to slipstream (create a custom installer that includes the drivers you need) your Windows installer. But when i go to insall windows none of the hard drives show up
