I tried installing my wifi adapter by using the relevant cd and I got the aforementioned error [refer to title] so I googled and was given the solution to enter this command:

E:\attrib> -r - s - a -h autorun.inf

Output: Latter error (title).

Be very clear, I'm a noob.

Solution
the system does not see cd reader recheck sata and power connector on it also check in control panal if you have the driver for it in the system , you load the wireless driver using the wired network .
