Easy Build Question: Just for basics

I'm building a web browser/pc just for typing papers for a family member. It needs to run smooth and fast, but obviously not overkill. Here's what I have so far, please let me know if you see any incompatibilities and if you see anywhere that I can go cheaper. Thanks!

If its intended purpose is as stated, then this will work just fine.
Only changes I would consider would be Windows 7 professional instead of 8.1, unless a touch-screen monitor is going to be used.
And I would add a regular hard drive for storage; maybe a 500 GB or 1TB - whichever you can find for the least amount of $$$.
