Easynote skype edition drivers linux

Hello,
Could someone point me in the right direction of getting some webcam drivers for a packard bell Easynote Skype edition (Gn45 is the model number).
I've just embarked on some Ubuntu 10.10 fun on this old laptop and cannot believe how fast it fly's with this op. Only problem I've found so far is that the webcam appears not to be recognised ubuntu 10.10 so I'm on the hunt for the driver for this model. Any help would be much appreciated.

Having had a quick look I think this might be using the ALi Bison chipset. Can you please try the following at a command prompt and post up the output:

lsusb | grep ALi

I can find a few people saying it's a no go but those date back to 2006 and things do move on... I'll see what I can find.
