Eax Sound effects not taking place after formatting Windows.

Hello everyone.

I am having a sound problem. i recently formatted my windows 7 and re-installed it. Previously with my sound card eax effect sound was working in windows 7 just like in xp. (i know Eax was removed from vista os onwards). But now after formatting and reinstalling in eax effects are not integrating with it like it did earlier. I very much like the eax sound it emits loud sound like when i am playing a game or watching a video the sound would be like everyone outside too can hear it but now even though i enable eax effects the sound is just audible in my room its like, its not spreading and confined to my room only!! something like that.

Eax was working in my previous windows 7 64bit but now i just cant get it working even when eax is turned on on my creative audio control panel. It is not integrating like before.

Does anybody know what to do to integrate it properly or enabling it properly by getting into core of system?? like looking into more detailed sound settings? I really need help in this,i really want the eax effects back.

I am using Creative Sound Blaster Audigy value 7.1 sound card

and my os is windows 7 64 bit.

So why not trying? I know that it was working before without alchemist, but this is the "offical" way to go. And on many other threads it was working fine.

Hey i think i get it..
I tweak those settings but still it feels like no changes are taking place. Such as when i decrease the Duration in alchemy i feel no difference, i decrease the voice count still no difference, I enable eax effects in my creative audio control panel (when game is turned on) i tick mark the eax effects i still get no changes, I switch between Active presets like Jazz club, opera hall, theater, stone hall still there is no change in effects why??

If i change presets in realtek audio settings i notice changes..

So the problem is that the changes are not taking place properly. Whether i change settings in Alchemy or in Audio control panel of creative. But in my previous windows 7 changes used to take place upon switching between active presets or ticking or unticking eax effects or increasing or decreasing the eax amount slider .

Your speakers are connected to the audigy card, right?

Default audio device is set to the audigy in Windows audio configuration?
Speakers are plugged into the line out of the card or where?

Deactivate realtek onboard sound in bios

Default audio device is set to sb audigy. communication device is set to Digital audio interface of Sb audigy.
Speakers are connected to green colored jack of my sound card.

I dont know how to deactivate the realtek on board sound in bios. I dont mess with BIOS. But if you tell me how to do it then i can look into it. My Mother board is intel DH61WW

Where to look for that HD audio codec and ac97? in BIOS?

I guess nothing can be done now.. resetting BIOS wont make any difference..

Finally I found a solution. After i formatted my pc i didnt had NetFramework installed in it. Now that i have installed it Eax affects are taking place. But i guess i never know eax effects had something to do with Netframework.

This is solved Finally!!
