Save the money.

Just use canned air and use as directed.

Anything else and you may likely set up for a blast of static electricity and/or knock some component loose. Or scratch the motherboard.

FYI - for example:

https://www.cdw.com/content/cdw/en/...es/2020/12/11/how-to-clean-your-computer.html

You can easily find similar links so do some reading and plan accordingly.

No metal tools, do not go in blasting away with the canned air. Plan the shots to push dust and debris out of the case versus deeper into cracks and crevices.

I use plastic tweezers to carefully pick out large dust bunnies to avoid blasting them into smaller pieces.

One more warning (and there may be other warnings): back up first and then power down and unplug before cleaning.

Totally disagree. :)

I have an electric duster and use it all the time for stuff. It has paid for itself dozens of times in canned air costs. I not only use it on and around the computer and other electronics, I use it for all kinds of stuff like dusting light fixtures. It's excellent for getting dust off books on book shelves.

I only paid about $65 for it though. Maybe 5 or 6 years ago.
