Hi, i have
i7 4790
GTX1070FE
16GB DDR3 1600mhz
Win10
LG 29uc88 29' Ultrawide 21:9 Monitor.

My pc can run any game easy at 60+ FPS, since my monitor is limted to 60hz i cant do more than that.

The issue is sometimes during gaming FPS is dropped few frams (59,58,56..) although its nothing its still annoying and i can feel the stutter on the screen.

Is there a way to avoid this?

The monitor is freesync but i dont have AMD card, and overclcoking the monitor is successful @ upto to 80hz but bad stutter is noticed when playing and using moving photo on testufo.

Do you recommend getting AMD RX580 8GB to avoid this? Can the card handle the resolution and highest gaming settings?

Thanks

Free Sync, Adaptive Sync, G Sync and V Sync just lock the game FPS to the monitors refresh rate to reduce screen tearing. They wouldn't cause frame dropping.

If the game is dropping from 60FPS down to the 50s and there's noticeable stuttering, you might try enabling V Sync through the Nvidia Control Panel and turning it off when in game, or vice versa, or both at the same time.
