EliteBook 2560p overheating

Hello, this is my first thread and i want you to know my issue, it may sound pretty logical, but i have a HP EliteBook 2560p laptop, i7 2620M, 4GB RAM, pretty simple, with Windows 10 Pro, and the laptop get really hot after few minutes of using, i know it is a very old laptop, but i want to know if someone have the same problem. Did you check temps using a utility like HWMonitor? Yes lots of people have heat issues with laptops, did you take it apart and check fans/vents to make sure they are clean? Cleaning off the heatsink and applying new thermal paste is a good idea also.
