Hi. So i was helping my friend to REFORMAT and install a new Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit OS. It is Acer Aspire V3-471. However the installing process go through well and no problem occured until I when take out the CD and load into the OS but it went to BSOD right after the WINDOWS IS STARTING UP screen...can anyone here please help...It was my friend's notebook...I had never encounter these problem before... Please...

And i installed the Pre-Activated Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit...Does it related??? There are 3 categories...
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit OEM-Activated
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit Pre-Activated

nope...now i planned to re-install the whole OS...reformat and try it again...isit ok? or should i try boot into safe mode first? If i were able to boot into safe mode what does that indicate??? Sorry really it was an emergency...

Safe Mode will only load the most basic drivers needed to get the system booted. Usually a troubleshooting step used after installing drivers, however you haven't really gotten to that point yet. It's still worth a shot.

Where did you get your install media (DVD) from?
