Emperor:Battle for Dune

Does anyone have Emperor:Battle for Dune. I know it is old, but I have a question. I have a brand new computer, definitely meets the requirements, but the game wont play. It loads, the screen goes black, and then it goes back to the desktop. Could it have to do with my Hard Drive letter being I, instead of C:. Someone please help. It is aggravating me to death.

Sounds like you might have an older version of DirectX, make sure you have 9.0b you can grab it from microsoft.com/directx (i think).

Also check to see if there's any new patches/updates for the game.
