Enable fan control settings on GA-970a-UD3P

As i have seen in some videos this motherboard has the ability to switch the cpu_fan voltage. I just got a Kraken x61 and i must put the cpu_fan at 100%. But cpu_fan settings doesnt appear on my BIOS. Does anyone know why?

You can download gigabyte easy tune 6 onto your pc, once installed, just select the option to auto tune the fans and it will sort it all out for you.

Get it from your motherboard Web page under utilities.

Do this program have to run everytime so the changes are kept? Cant i just put the fan somehow to the maximum via BIOS settings?

You have such options in BIOS. See MIT>PC Health Status>CPU Fan Speed Control set to Disabled, and then the fan (or pump in this case) connected to CPU-FAN header will run full speed all time.

Indeed you are right! thanks for that. But then you have to change the values of the "Slope PWM" i guess. Cause in CPU Fan Speed Control you have the options: Disabled,Silent,Normal. Do you know how to make it run on full speed?

According to manual, just set it to Disabled, and that's all you need.
