Question Enable Intel Rapid Storage Technology in BIOS?

Is there any advantage enabling and using the IRST driver for my main NVMe SATA drive using an Asus Z790 board? I guess I would have to enable IRST in the BIOS then select the option Map PCIE Storage Under VMD? There is also an option to Map SATA Controller Under VMD which I don't understand.

You do not need it enabled with a ssd. Just use the controller package that comes with your ssd.

Rapid Storage Technology is basically Intel's motherboard based RAID solution. You don't need it at all.
