Two questions;

#1 Is it worth upgrading a non NVME m.2 SSD with a NVME SSD? (My MOBO supports NVME but when I purchased the M.2 SSD it was way cheaper than the NVME version, form factor is 2280)

#2 If I do upgrade my slot with a faster NVME SSD, I want to utilize an enclosure for my other non NVME SSD, should I purchase an enclsure that supports eSATA or a USB 3.1 Type C.
I have MOBO that has a both eSATA and Type C support.

I use an m.2 MX500 SATA III SSD to store and run my games.
My motherboard does have an nvme m.2 slot but I personally didn't think the 1 or 2 seconds that I might gain was worth the extra cost when I bought it.
If you are happy with the performance of your current m.2 SSD, I wouldn't bother switching to an nvme drive until you really need to.
