hi all,
I just had a bizarre problem with my computer. I am running a b650 msi Tomahawk wifi motherboard with 6000 mhz ram and a 7800x3d processor. I have a weird issue where sometimes the computer wont turn off after shutdown. It happens randomly. I just have been leaving the computer running and just resetting it every 2-3 days. However today I noticed another problem. I checked taskmanager and noticed my CPU speed was low. Below the 4.20 GHz base speed. It wouldn't go above 3.90 GHz no matter what I did even under full load. Then I noticed something else. My CPU temps were all frozen at 46 degrees. I checked hwinfo,coretemp and several other monitoring programs and they were all frozen at 46. Aside from adrenaline which was frozen at 41 or something. The weird thing is I reset the computer and everything went back to normal. The processor speed looked ok and the temp sensors were all working again. I don't understand how windows can cause that. This is a fairly fresh install. Bios showed all the temps ok after reboot 2. I have attached the 2 videos I made showing and talking about the problem. It would be appreciated if anybody could help.
