Discussion Encrypted locker challenge

I saw on Twitter that NordLocker started a bounty campaign on their encryption software. Apparently they're willing to pay someone ten grand if they can manage to crack their encryption. Seems like an interesting challenge for those who know about this kind of stuff. And this could really blow up in their faces if someone actually manages to crack it. I'm no hacker, but I'm still curious what you guys think about this. You can find more info on their [Moderator deleted].

Tom's Hardware does not assist with nor promote any sort of hacking or otherwise violating security measures.

Nor should we, in my opinion, encourage "promotional" contests that require such actions and efforts.
