Hi guys

After I tried to overclock my 8350 by only 40 bloody Mhz, my PC has decided to go on an endless restart loop for my enjoyment. Here´s what happens every time:

1. ASrock screen after normal power on

2. Normal Win 8 loading screen with no stuttering or anything

3. Logon screen as normal

4. As soon as I type into the password box the computer craps itself and restarts

5. ASrock screen

6. Win 8 loading screen, but with the spinning thing being replaced by a ´Please Wait´ message. Like I can do anything else.

7. A light blue screen appears, asking if I want to repair. Of course I do. I click the repair button and it restarts.

8. And the vicious cycle continues!

PC Specs: (I´m very proud of them so pls don't h8 fam)

- AMD FX 8350 CPU

- ASrock 990FX Extreme6 Mobo

- 8GB 1866 Mhz Corsair Dominator RAM

- Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 Gaming G1 GPU

- Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler

- 240GB Kingston SSD

- 500GB Seagate HDD

- 800W Hiditec Iron PSU

That should be it I think.

Any suggestions as to how I may recuperate from my pathetic endeavour to overlock my CPU (that´s SUPPOSED TO BE OVERCLOCKED EASILY) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

I couldn´t find a switch or button so i took out the CMOS battery and held the power button for 20 seconds. Didn´t work. I also tried resetting the UEFI to default setting which didn't work either

I know i thought it was dodgy at first too but I've never had any problems with it. Any ideas?
