ok i was going to get my hands on an r9 390 due to its amazing vram amount but a mate of mine has a msi 970 which i might buy off him instead of having to buy a bigger psu and a r9 390 and plus im going to trade a 750ti and some cash but will my 500watt psu be sifficant enough for this card and a fx 6300, 5 fans, 1 sata hdd, 8gb ram.

the psu chart shows on the +12v 498 watts, 3.3v/5v 103watts

500 watts is enough for your system with a GTX 970 but the NAXN is a low budget, low quality model and not very good for a gaming system. You need a PSU upgrade regardless of what GPU you choose.

Looks like you have a tier 3 PSU, lower quality components. Not really ideal in serious overclocking or super-high load situations, such as a Bitcoin mining rig or a high end gaming system.

You need a better PSU regardless of which graphics card you choose. Get a Seasonic S12II-620w PSU.

well im not in a country were pc parts are 2 pennies so ill put it this way if i put a 970 with my psu/pc will the psu go pop

It won't go pop. According to Nvidia it recommends a minimum 500w PSU. Go ahead and try. If the PC doesn't boot up, or keeps crashing you will have to change the PSU.
