Hey guys!
so a couple of days ago a couple of other members on the forum helped me decide to upgrade my gpu from gtx 730 to the gtx 960, but before i make the purchase i want to know if it will even fit in my computer.

Here is a link to my computer http://www.walmart.com/ip/iBUYPOWER-Black-Gamer-Power-WA550B-Desktop-PC-with-AMD-Quad-Core-FX-4300-Processor-8GB-Memory-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-Windows-7-Home-Premium-Monitor-Not/23745948

(also on a side note, does anyone know how long newegg takes to ship to socal i.e los angeles,San Diego)

Im buying a new PSU 500w, but you dont think it will fit the motherboard?

in to response as to why I didnt build my computer is because at the time of purchase i was kind of tight with money so I got it for a good deal. I eventually build my own.

Don't get 500W! Get 750W so you have space to upgrade in the future. Also what PSU are you getting? Let me check if it's a good one.

this is the psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438012&cm_re=evga_500_watt-_-17-438-012-_-Product

i would get a 750 but idk if i can afford that and the gpu

but do you think it will fit my motherboard?

im planning on eventually upgrading the processor but right now i figured that the gpu is more important, but i am getting the 500w psu.
can you link me to a gtx 960 that will be smaller and also fit my computer/motherboard

What do you mean? I have an Asus GTX 960 Strix and play all the modern titles at ultra and get around 60 - 80 fps on Far Cry 3, 4, over 200 fps on CS:GO, etc. It doesn't run games slowly!

Also just getting 400W is a terrible idea, always get an extra 200W so you have space to upgrade or replace components, now what PSU are you getting?

Also im afraid this might be a stupid question, but will getting the smaller edition sacrifice any performance from the gpu?

Also will that one work with my motherboard

I have an Intel i5-4690K and a Asus GTX 960 Strix, I overclocked both and get over 60 fps on high/ultra settings in all the games I play. My PSU is 750W and I am happy it is, I have upgraded it several times and have needed the extra power.

Do you actually understand computers? NEVER buy a cheap PSU, they cause damage to other components and break easily. PSU's are very important in computers and if you have a bad one, it ruins your whole rig.

alright... but for as of now will the gpu fit my current motherboard?

i think it is probably best then to hold off on the graphics card and just get a new motherboard and PSU i only have a 250$ budget and i dont want to have a shitty set up because i was being impatient

ok cool, i know i sound really stupid right now but if i get a regular gtx 960 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487091
will that fit my current motherboard?
I already am getting the PSU so my only problem is if it will fit the motherboard.

Yes the GTX 960 will fit, but I don't think your PCIe slot is PCIe 3 so you won't get full performance. This means there's not really any point buying the card with that motherboard. Wait, I just checked that there is one PCIe 3 slot, so you're in luck.

First buy a new motherboard - £100
Then buy a good PSU - £70
Next buy the rest once you have the money
