Yes! I always love more competition to take the probability of victory away from me!

xD. Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season. New Years is just around the corner.

[citation][nom]Regulas[/nom]The bottom case looks like it could be Lian Li case, they are nice.$2,500 would be one killer rig.[/citation]

You do realize all the specs are posted in their respective articles, right? There is no "would be a killer rig" here, it IS a killer rig (although I feel that there are some spots it could have been improved on).

You don't have to live in the US to work at Tom's (Jane being the best example), but it's a must to participate in their contests.

Is the hassle of employing a foreign that much easier than the hassle of international shipping?

I'm very, VERY dissapointed.

What if I don't remember if I entered the contest previously? Can I still submit without my entry being reject just in case I accidentally submit twice?

Quite pathetic that I can't remember if I did or not.

There is alot of red tape to go through for international contests to be technically legal. It's simpler to restrict it to the US. It's got nothing to do with shipping, as PNY ran a contest with similar restrictions and the prizes were program keys.

In the system builders I like seeing the effort to try new things, so that we can get a better feel on how to best spend our money in our "real" builds. With all my buddies building systems with i5 750s (3 people actually), I thought it was really interesting to see how dual 5850 and 5870s perform, considering that they're all using crossfire enabled boards and planning on buying new Radeons.

Some strong performers this time around too. The $1300 PC had more graphic punch than December's $2500 PC! Lets hope that whomever wins these babies gives them as much "Love" and attention as I would... Lets hope gamers win, cuz, the idea of any of these machines doing just spreadsheets and email would make me sad.

Hm. Candy Corn cooled PC? Right on!

Happy New Year everyone

Too bad mtd324. Luckily i live just over the border from Woonsocket RI so i qualify. But at least you'll never have the stigma of being referred to as a Masshole! Good luck to all who entered. There are some nice systems there!

Why can only US citizens participate in the contest? there are so many readers of TH outside the US. For example, I am from Spain

Cost of shipping would be the top reason but I also suspect it has to do with shipping PC's outside the country, when I worked at we had special procedures for shipping outside the US and it had to do not only with money but some places are not allowed to have the latest PC's (I know they already have them if they want them but its the law that companies inside the US have to follow) Dang Terrorist want to play the latest version of what ever game is out they have to import the machine from some third party company in a different country. Grey market!!!

Any of these machines would be nice, and good luck to everyone!!!

Wish we had an edit button for these things but it was supposed to say "when I worked at Company X" but I had some brackets on it and it removed them and the words they contained.

High tech export laws and all that jazz.

I love you newegg, I can't believe my pc cost over a grand a few years ago, and now it's barely worth 300...hopefully if I win this I can finally put my dual monitor setup to great use 😀...GL to all
