Envy Rove 20 Hard Drive replacement

I have and Envy Rove 20-K120 US It has a Seagate SSHD ST750LM000-IEJ16G hard drive, that keeps crashing what can I replace it with. Thanksss

Can you give more details on the "crashing?" We want to be sure that it is a disk issue; if it were an OS or other software issue replacing the disk wouldn't do any good.

The drives are fairly standard, but I don't know anyone who's opened up and serviced an all-in-one.

Most important - do you have external backups of whatever files you will need if this thing were to fail permanently? That should be your first priority.

It does blue screen kernal data error then when it attempts to restart it does hard drive not found 3F0 error. I can force shut down and restart and then it runs.. I have spent over a year with hp tech sent it in 3 times same thing....I ignore it for 6 mths and decided to mess with it again..I took it back to factory setting etc..crashes I have the recovery zip drive somewhere but cant find it so today I was trying to do recovery discs and it crashes cant get thru one disc before it crashes...It wont complete the hard drive check..I took the hard drive out to get exact specs just put it back it..I might attemp the recovery disc again but I am a betting woman so I am sure it will crash.

Were I in your position, if my business did not depend on that particular PC running I would take it down and remove the hard drive. Use another machine to copy data from the hard drive to recover what you need, and replace the entire failing machine. Might be the drive, might be the disk controller, not worth the risk.
