Im looking to build a new computer in the upcoming weeks, and ive run into a problem with mobo and memory compatibility.
Im looking to use Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 4-4-4-12 on a ECS KA3 MVP board.
i've found out that the two are compatible however Corsair says that the memory can only run at those settings on a EPP enabled board.
So, can anyone explain to me what EPP is, how it is different than JEDEC, and is it only compatible with some chipsets, or are most mobos EPP enabled
