It's just that often we can help people do the thing they want to do without the thing they THINK they need.
You say you get an error from the bios, usually this can be solved just by changing bios settings or resetting it completely, updating it would also reset it and also updates could fix problems, including the one that you might have.

If you are set on finding the bios/eprom chip anyway then upload a high resolution picture of the motherboard so that people can take a look at the chips and say which ones are possible to be the bios.

I already flash the bios. I try to remove any power from motherboard like remove main battery and bios battery for a day. Still nothing. I search everywhere on google but I can't fix yet. And my last change it is to search on forums and try to receive some replays. I found this forum with a lot of posts and I sayd to try. Maybe somebody can help me. I ask some guys from London but I don't trust them to send the laptop becauae I'm in other side of the country and I don't trust them. Than you can help me to locate that chip please. I can see here are a lot of guys with good experince in everything about laptop/pc...please can you help me.

Don't have any bios pass. I used before. After few weeks give me some crash, blue screen and some times i have to reset 2...3 times to enter in system.with that error. I don't have a picture because now the motherboard it'a off from laptop. Can you help me to locate or not?

As mentioned earlier, take a high resolution picture of the motherboard and upload to a site like imgur.com. Then post a link to it here.

Even if you can remove the BIOS chip, sourcing another may not be possible, or even work.

Have you considered replacing the motherboard?

Ok. I will do. It's 500£ new mother board 😀 to fix the cip it's 50 😀 . I have a s23 ultra. I will do 200m picture.

I believe it is one of the two GigaDevice marked chips. I am not certain.

Maybe another set of eyes will come along.
Heheheheh should be 8 pins. Hmmmmmm...waiting for others. Maybe they know 😀 I have to be sure. I don't want to burn the motherboard. Or other chip.

Edit: a yeah them 2 are 8 pins.

Best I can do. Maybe someone else can assist.

I was just looking at listings for refurbished devices of the same model laptop, cheaper than new motherboards.

I get your frustration. OEMs don't design these systems for this level of repair, so don't make information available.

Good luck.

Hehehehe....ok. thanks. Maybe somebody else will answer. You can't put on top somehow to be more visible? 😀

I asked some really smart guys to take a look at your thread.

You really should check the warranty status, unless your second hand purchase isn't from a legit source.
I told you I bouth second hand cheap from marketplace. 250£. It'a nearly new. 1500£. If I can't fix I will sell ram, ssd, keyboard, screen, cooler...etc and I will make that 250 without any problem. 😀 but I like to fix. I want just to try to fix if it'a possible. Forget about warranty.

I hear you on fixing.

Just seems illogical to possibly fully fix for free, vice potentially destroying an expensive laptop.

I'm out. Good luck.
