i accidentally bought an EPS 24 pin power supply and i have an ASUS A8V
Deluxe, is there anything i can do to convert the 24 pin to 20 pin ? or do
i just need a new power supply ?

I believe that EPS is going to be the new standard with socket939
motherboards
The opposite way around, it should be possible to use atx power supply
on eps motherboard. I know that for a dual socketa board like Iwill
Mpx2 it was possible.

It should just work if there is enough space around the 20-pin connector
on the board (i.e. nothing is blocking the 4 pins from the 24-pin
connector which are not used). It will only fit one way.
