Epson H772A PowerLite Home Cinema 1040 1080p 3LCD Projector

I have connected two monitors to my machine by way of a Display Port and DVI cable, and recently set up the above specified projector to utilize my graphic card's third output, an HDMI slot. When connecting the projector to the machine via an HDMI cable, I find that the Nvidia Control Panel recognizes the third display device, as does Windows (my desktop is extended to a third workspace), but the projector fails to render that third workplace, issuing a "no signal" error. I don't have an alternate cable of a the same or different type which is long enough to reach the projector, but I also suspect that the cable is not the issue. Thank you in advance for any and all assistance in solving this problem.

Didn't work. Discovered that everything worked when the same or different cable was connected to a laptop. Resigned to trying the integrated HDMI output on the desktop, which wasn't working either, and apparently needed enabling in the BIOS. Then learned that my desktop, for no apparent reason, doesn't show the boot screen anymore with key instructions to enter the BIOS, so I just hit F2, F10 and DEL a bunch of times hoping it would work. Nothing. I let it go to the Windows login, logged in, and now the integrated HDMI magically works. I am confused and frustrated, but I guess the problem is solved... for now.
