I have a new Epson V600 Photo scanner and am running Windows 10 on a 1-year-old Dell Desktop.
If I turn on the scanner I get an error message saying the scanner cannot communicate with the computer.
After much fiddling, I discovered that if I turn OFF "Windows Imaging Acquisition" in Services the scanner will work - at least until I have to turn it off.
I have talked to Epson Technical Twice, but in the end, they say it is an operating system issue.
Obviously, I don't want to have to go to this Services workaround every time I use the scanner and I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on what I can do.
