[SOLVED] Epson Xp-215 firmware downgrade to OF08D4

Hello,
I was not aware that a firmware update could cause so much troubles! My printer, Epson XP-215 after the last update can't read compatible cartdrige anymore.
The only solution will be a firmware downgrade to this version OF08D4.
Apparently Epson took off the website all the old firmwares, so it is quite impossible to find it.
Does anyone have this firmware, or maybe knows where I can find it?
I know about the software Wic Reset, but they asks 20 $ to make it work....

Tried scraping the carbon band off the cartridge
There is a carbon film band on the upper right corner of the chip. They connect two gold contacts.
Scrape the carbon film band right in the middle of the gold contacts with a box cutter or sharp knife.
Place the cartridge back into the printer and check if it is recognized.

I have this kind of cartdrige, (see picture) so i think it is not possible...

it seems to be some kind of melted liquid (now solid) to cover some circuit.

It looks like is connecting two gold circuits.
Try scraping it right in the middle of the gold contacts.
I was asking around and could not find any one that had the model XP-215.
I do found many from 200-900 series.
