EQL Enchanted Ring of Torden

Greetings,

I just completed the Enchanted Ring of Torden question (BoT Towers access).

I want to move the ring to my keyring.

I'm pretty unfamiliar with BoT. As a 63 PAL, can use my GVD to invis, run through any of
the wings to get to the CY, run across the CY to any tower port, click in, then get out
again with little risk (assuming my invis holds)? Will I have to use a gate potion to get
out of the tower?

I think you need to take a gate potion with you. Just make sure you
have sow and run like hell. You should be able to make it just fine.

There are ports out along the way, but you need to get past some of the
giants, and the ones in the towers all see invis, so at 63 I dont think its
possible solo.

I'm willing to chance the run to the tower port. But...do I pop in the tower right at the
feet of an angry giant, or do I have some space to trigger my gate?

Where you port up is safe in all the towers. The hardest tower (you'll have
to ask around to find out which port takes you to it, as it's been a long
time for me), the one with the "squiggies" (skygee), has a port back down
*very* close to the port up.

Been a while since I was in BoT, but I'm pretty sure that the only way to
"click" out again, is on top floor, after killing the boss. So, if you wanna
go in to keyring the key, IIRC you will have to use a gate potion, yes.

You don't have to go anywhere near the tower boss to click out of some of
the wings, others you do. I am thinking Lightning is one where you do,
maybe Sand too. It's been quite a while though. The other issue is that
you may find other see invis mobs on the way, never tested it. Of
course, as a Paladin, you have DA, so you can hit that, run, and click
out before you are killed, on the tower with the short run, whichever one
that was.

Most, if not all, the port in spot is safe. I'd bet that you can make it
out with your holy steed and DA though, so long as you know which way to
go, and pick the tower with the shortest run.

Do the Air tower (SW?) because there's a portal out on the left as soon as
you port in. No mobs.

Thanks, gang. This worked out well. I rode my Holy Pony through the Lightning wing, then
across the CY to the Tornado tower. Key added to ring; gate potion home. Smooth as silk.
