Equivalent Assembled PC

I want to have a PC with the config same as for Dell XPS 8900 3.4GHz Black Mini Tower i7-6700. Can anyone please suggest me the components I need to buy ? Dell has some other features like Bluetooth, Wifi etc. I donot want that features. I just need a Assembled PC as powerful as Dell PC.

I assume you need an operating system?

As powerful in what? What is the PC going to be used for? There are a lot of design choices in the Dell that I would not make in a PC I put together myself.

The PC is intended for running complex softwares like arcgis, ibm websphere, mostly the developer environment. What features dell offers in addition when compared to assembled pc. The os will be linux flavour mostly ubuntu or fedora or redhat. I just want to know the compatible components for intel core i7 6700(non k version). And after all, i want to reduce the cost. Please let me know what benefits I get witb branded pc like dell.
