Equivalent of Radeon R9 280X

Hello. My Radeon R9 280X died recently and I'm looking for a replacement and since the same one is not so easily available I might need a different one. I was also thinking if these days (cause I bought this one about 4 years ago) there may be something better for the price. So what would you recommend?
My specs are
i7 2600 3.40GHz
MB: MSI B75A-G43
16 GB RAM

An RX 570 would be decent and would also give more performance.

A 1060 might be kinda overkill, considering that he's been using a 280X this whole time.

Thanks! I think I'm gonna go with RX570 since 1060 might be a bit of an overkill indeed. Especially with the cpu I have.
