I keep receiving this error while trying to download AMD drivers and I cant find what's causing this issue I've gone to my registry and tried looking for any containing the letter D and cant find anything I also noticed my HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software, is instead HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE not sure if this could be something related to the issue I'm facing.

Solution
So you have a C drive for the OS
You have a HDD labeled H and an SSD labeled S
Where did you put the D drive? is it missing?
Was a D drive there when you installed windows?
Try disconnecting additional drives prior to update of drivers
Any preceding hardware or software changes?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Provide drive information for all drives:

Stay out of the registry: That is for last resort use and only after ensuring you have full backups of everything including the registry.

Are you intentionally trying to download the drivers to the D: drive or is that just the error message you are getting?

Have you checked all installed drives to ensure that all power and data cables are fully connected?

Go into Disk Management, capture the window and post here.

Solution
I believe there was a drive partition labeled D, but no the PC has kept its same drives throughout its whole life. I updated to new windows just recently and I believe this has solved the issue I no longer receive this error message.
