I've been trying to use Macrium Reflect to clone my failing storage drive to a new one I just bought, but whenever I try to clone it, it gives me the error "Clone failed - Read failed - 2 - Broken pipe." My guess would be bad sectors, but I have it set to ignore them. I've also tried Seagate Disk Wizard, but it just gets stuck when I start the clone.

Well...the only critical thing on there is your personal files.
Everything else...OS, applications...can all be recreated. You can't get back personal pics and docs. Copy those off first.

I can still work with the files on it, though. They seem mostly readable. It also has an odd issue with randomly disconnecting itself, disappearing from the OS.

Well that's the thing, it hardly has any personal stuff on it. I've already copied those things off, but I really don't want to spend the next 48 hours downloading nearly 500GB of lost data.
