Hi!
I have a new laptop. It had a 2TB Samsung 850 EVO SSD in it with the OS.
I took it out and formatted it.
I then put a Kingston HyperX Savage 250Gb in that slot and the Samsung in the 2nd slot.
Both drives are recognised, the Hyperx has AHCI running.
I then installed the OS on the Kingston.
I put on all my drivers and everything works fine.
I've now tried to put 2 different games on the Samsung drive (D:\) - The Crew (Worldwide) from Ubisoft which was directly from a brand new disc and a digital copy of COD Advanced Warfare.
The Crew keeps saying, for example -

"D:\Games\The Crew\The Crew (Worldwide)\data_win32\startchunk.dat
An error occured while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted."

I keep getting this error with a lot of different files in both games.
However, both games load fine on my old laptop which also has Windows 8.1 on it.
So, the game files are not corrupt.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks basroil,
maybe I wasn't clear.
It's a new laptop and I was trying to install the games, not move them.
I'm now running MemTest86 to see if it's a RAM problem.
All the programs that I installed from my external HD all worked fine. Just trying to install games doesn't work?
I also tried to install the games on C:\. Doesn't work Like trying to install COD.
I'm wondering if I have to make the laptop thing D: drive is a HDD and not an SSD?
