Hello, I have currently got new game which wasn't really cheap and it keeps showing me the 0xc00007b error when I want to start.

After a little research I have found out I should update some things. So I have updated these:
- Microsft Visual C++ Redistructable Pack
- Notebook drivers were up to date
- AMD Radeon drivers were up to date
- I have newest directX
- Also downloaded some .dll files
- Also tried turning off Windows Defender and start app as admin

nothing helped any other suggestions? I am playing this game normally on my desktop computer (that's with win7 64x). Problem is only on my Win 8.1 64x Laptop. More parameters:

Lenovo G510 59-375079
- Intel Core i7 4700MQ 2,4 GHz, 6 MB L3 Cache, Turbo Boost 2 with 3,4 GHz
- 2x 4GB DDR3
- AMD Radeon HD8750 with 2 GB memory

Here is a simple solution to your complex problem.

You can do this yourself. So follow the steps.

1.Go to Start and search "cmd" without quotes.

2.Then right click on it and choose "Run as administrator".

3.Once the Command Prompt launches type in: sfc/scannow

4.This will start scanning your system for registry problems and Corrupted Files.

5.It will take some time so leave it like that.

6.Once the scanning is completed restart your Computer so that it can repair the corrupted files of Windows during the boot process.

7.Now that the Computer is booted up you are ready to play.

Hope I helped you. :)

Haha. That's a very common problem even I had it this week for the first time while I was typing on Tom's. Here is a very simple fix.

1.Open your Laptop from the backside.

2.Take out the RAM and clean it with a dry cloth.

3.Also try to clean the GPU with taking it out.

4.See if that works.

Also I would suggest to take your laptop to it's service center for Fan Cleaning and stuff.

This error can cause a very serious problem if taken casually.

Hope this helps. Also get a Laptop Cooling Pad to get rid of unwanted heat. :)
