Hello everyone, first time poster, long time lurker.

Our server has been set up and works well. We have a domain, and all our workstations are connected to it, and our latest work station has been added as a computer to the server manager.

While attempting to connect to the domain, when I type in the correct domain it shoudl connect to, I get the following error:

DNS was successfully queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate a domain controller for domain "mge.whatever.com":

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.mge.whatever.com

The following domain controllers were identified by the query:
server.mge.whatever.com

However no domain controllers could be contacted.

It's as if it connects to the DNS, and it even identifies the controller, but then it cannot connect..

What further confuses me, is that if I set the domain as "mgeserver", it asks me for credentials, and then gives me an error saying that the network path cannot be found.

Either way, I have been unable to find anyway to change the domain of this new Windows 7 workstation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have done extensive Googling over the last couple days, and I think this might be a really unique error because I haven't seen many people having this problem.
