Escape key bound to wrong key

I recently started having this issue where my escape key is acting like the grave accent/tilde key. Pressing it produces " ` " and shift-escape gives " ~ ". The tilde key also does this.

Its a Razer Ornata, it was working perfectly about a week ago so I had a look in Razer Synapse, but the key binds are all normal there. I know its my keyboard as the Ease of Access on screen keyboard works normally.
I'm running windows 10.

While writing this I discovered something even stranger, pressing shift on either key brings up the Chrome task manager. I know normally this is done by pressing shift-esc. Meaning that not only are they both acting as a tilde key, but also acting as an escape key at the same time.

I'm having the same issue, brand new keyboard, because my old one was a bit old, and quite a few keys were being mismatched. plugged in another keyboard and everything worked fine. bought a new keyboard, working fine, I've had it for about 7 hours now, and my escape key is now pressing as an "a". I can't find much about to fix this.
