I am having websites blocked as dangerous and these are well known legit websites. About 90%+ are being blocked. I am trying on multiple browsers including Chrome and Firefox.

I am using a just built AMD Ryzen computer and did a clean install of Windows 10 and clean install of my ESET NOD32 virus/spyware software. I've used ESET NOD32 at least 6 years and never had this issue before.

Unless I Disable the 'protocol checking'
and/or
Disable 'Https checking'

But I fear this will make me vulnerable to some malware or something bad from websites.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Can I leave the 1st part disabled?

thanks

How do you upload a screenshot?????

Solution
Many browsers and/or AV's are increasingly enforcing a 'non-https = DANGEROUS' approach....

If you are going to non-secured (non-https) websites, you will have no choice but to disable the 'https checking' feature...as every single one will be blocked.

I'm so dumb that it took me 3 hours to disable that in ESET NOD32. Mainly because the messages made no mention of the AV software and only spoke in terms of the Browser or the OS 'protecting' me from top 100 legit websites.

It's so sad :-(

Thanks for replying, it helped me.
