Question Ethernet and Internet Disconnects randomly

hardware:
wifi range extender (pc is connect to Ethernet) netgear EX7000
motherboard: ASUS ROG 270F
wifi card: TP-link wifi pci-E wifi adapter
windows 10 pro 1803 (17134.829)
my Ethernet will randomly every 2 hours or so disconnect from the internet it will say it is connected but will have a bad gateway i replaced then Ethernet cable installed a new Ethernet card and wifi card but those all did not fix the issue i tried using the NETGEAR genie program while that did help me reconnect faster it does not fix the issue nor tell me what is exactly wrong.

Your issue is a little unclear. Is your PC connected via an ethernet cable or is it connecting via Wi-Fi?

did you try to connect directly to isp modem to see if you get disconnect .

it is connected to Ethernet however, when it disconnects i turn wifi on

no i have not it is inconvenient to do so and i need my pc for work

then since your on wi-fi extender and adapter would check both one of it could heathing up and loose signal .

Plug directly into the modem if you can temporarily for testing. If you don't get any drops, factory reset or replace the router. If you continue to get drops, contact your Internet Service Provider.
