Ethernet cable wont work help

Hey bud.

Try using the software (CD usually, sometimes USB drive), that came with the motherboard, to install the ethernet driver.

Alternatively you can download the driver from the motherboard's product site. Simply google your motherboard brand and model and 'driver download'. Usually one of the first options will be the Support site with all drivers available. Remember to select the correct operating system(Windows 7, Windows 10, etc.).

If you have trouble, post here the model and I will find the download for ya.
