Ethernet connection issue

I'm at a loss of what to do at the moment. I have an MSI Z97 G45 Gaming 5 Mobo with a Killer E2205 Ethernet controller. At first in the device manager it was hidden and when I went into the properties, it said something along the lines of "This device is not connected", meanwhile it's integrated into the board. I went to try to remove and update the drivers, but hit uninstall device instead, so now the pc doesn't even detect it. I've scanned for hardware changes in device manager, tried adding legacy devices (Didn't work). Installing drivers obviously doesn't work because the computer doesn't even know the ethernet port is there anymore. I'm really trying to stay clear of doing a recovery / re install of windows. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

Here's a picture of my network devices in device manager, this is with hidden devices enabled.

***Also, there is an orange light lit up next to the port on the mobo if this means anything.

sounds like a faulty ethernet port. May have to send it for an RMA.
