[SOLVED] Ethernet connection slower than Wifi

I have my desktop connected via Ethernet but I am only getting 100 mbps download speed when I am paying for 500 mbps download speed. I have no problem getting that speed on my phone via Wifi. I have an Arris Model NVG468MQ router and I have a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Network Adaptor.

Things I have done so far:
Update drivers for Network Card
Change the connection to different ports in the router

What else should I try to get my speeds to 500?

on one end you seem to have 100 mbps ehternet ports either on your router or on your computer that's seems to be the reason.

So my Internet provider checked my speeds and everything is fine. It is something on my computer end that is throttling my speeds. Could be a bad cable, port, etc. Will have to play around and see how I can troubleshoot this.
