Question Ethernet disconnecting

Having a problem with Vpn Unlimited. Everytime I connect, my ethernet disconnects and the android tv box reverts to wifi.

It's been a straight swop with my old android box to a nice shiny new one.
Same vpn provider and settings from the old box to the new.

Can you disable WiFi (or delete stored profiles)? May be during the time VPN establishes connection, your box decides to try another connection, and WiFi connects.

HI. Tried that. The box just stares at me doing nothing. I've had an email conversation with the vpn unlimited support centre and have tried the three different protocol options that they have and tried other links ( other than the bbc streaming link).
When I reboot the box, it sees the ethernet. I can jump between apps with no problem. As soon as i hit the vpn unlimited app, the box reverts to wifi if I haven't disabled it. If I've disabled the wifi, the box just wont connect.
I'm thinking it may be an issue with the new Android OS 9 and the vpn provider. Didn't get this problem with my old Android box.

Get the cheapest router supporting Client VPN, configure it for your VPN provider, and put it between your main router and the box.
