Ethernet Doesn't Have A Valid IP Configuration

Im trying to use my desktop and i cant use the internet the Ethernet says Unidentified Network with limited underneath it i done a diagnoses and it says Ethernet Doesn't Have A Valid IP Configuration can anybody please help me?

Was this a new install, or was the internet previously working on this PC?

Does the static IP configuration allow it to work?

Holy God i fixed it my self what i did was put random digits in the alternative configuration windows came up with a troubleshooter and it deleted what i wrote and enabled DHCP which i personally don't know what it is?!

Yes, you must have DHCP enabled or manually input a static IP.

DHCP allows the router to tell your PC what its address is.

I didn't change anything before troubleshooting.
