This generally happens when your PC is configured to obtain an IP address automatically but the DHCP Server (router in home networks) is unavailable or fails to provide the IP address due to any reason..
You can either try right-clicking the NIC and selecting the
Diagnose option, or you can always assign a static IP address to the NIC to get it up and running.
