[SOLVED] Ethernet not connected until reboot

When i initially boot up the pc (from a powered off state), the ethernet doesn't work. It just doesn't show that anything is connected via ethernet. However, when I restart the PC via windows or the restart button on my case, the ethernet is detected and works fine. Are there any fixes for this? I am running relatively old hardware currently so that may have something to do with it.

CPU - i5 2500
Motherboard - Intel DH61WW
RAM - 2x4gb DDR3 1333
GPU - RX 480 8GB
PSU - XFX PRO 550W
Storage - 120GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD

Hello

The first thing you can try is to update the NIC driver and see if the issue is resolved. If it doesn't, please try Disabling Fast Startup and try again.

If none of the above solutions works, please Run the SFC /SCANNOW Command and let it fix the issue automatically.
