Question Ethernet not working on first start up!

every time i turn on my PC the Ethernet is not working unless i restart and after that it works OK.
what should i do ?

Tried rightclick the ethernet icon in the systemtray and then choose "problem solving"? If it says it's just about not getting an ip adress or valid one and fixes that is it something i think in windows,maybe setting a static ip adress can help to solve that. If it just doesn't work might it be something with the modem/router. Tried resetting that one?

have the latest LAN drivers?

Not really my thing this so might run outof answers. Maybe in the next section they have better ones,
