[SOLVED] Ethernet not working

When I plug in my ethernet to the router alone it works perfectly fine. Once I add other peoples ethernet cables into the router it no longer works. If I unplug theirs from the router, it begins to work again.

What do you mean by 'not work'? Do the link lights go out or do you have problems reaching the Internet?

All lights on the router and modem are on and working as they should be. There is an issue when I try to add other Ethernet connections to the router. I have a direct connection to my office computer next to the router and with that only plugged into the router the Ethernet works great. Once adding another Ethernet connect to my computer upstairs to the same router, the Ethernet no longer works on either computer. The WiFi has not been working either on these devices. My phone is reaching WiFi but neither computers are able to find a WiFi connection when both connected to the router at the same time.

Sounds like an IP conflict. If you reset all your computers to dhcp you should be fine. If not, reset your router too, and then everything should 'just work'.
