Ethernet only works with certain applications where as wifi works with all.

My issue is that when I connect an ethernet to my computer only a few applications work with the connection. Where as on WIFI, all applications work fine.
I have check another computer on the same ethernet and it works fine.
Is there anything i could do to stop this problem

The problem is illogical. Apps don't care how they get to the Internet, so no I don't have any "magic" to give you.

So unless you are able to do some troubleshooting, stick with WIFI.

I wanted to use ethernet only in the end as wifi is rubbish
