Ethernet port doesn't work

Hi,
I have a problem with my ethernet port on my laptop. Wi-Fi works fine but the pc just doesn't detect a the cable. I'm sure the cable isn't the problem because it does work on my other laptop. I have been looking for drivers but everytime I try to install one, it says "Cannot install drivers. No Intel Adapters are present in this computer."

I am currently using an Asus laptop with windows 10. The ethernet port has never worked.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Enter your bios and find the setting for INTEL LAN

My LAN is enabled everywhere. I don't think that's the problem.

Check your device manager, under Network Adapter you will find all of NICs on your laptop. Maybe your problem is about hardware, not about driver.

You can install/update the NIC's driver only if it is listed in the device manager with or without one yeallow indicator mark. In the case your laptop didn't realize that NIC - you couldn't

Can you give clear instructions on what to do, I'm not that good at english I am sorry. I looked in the device manager and there are no yellow indicators but in the network adapters tab, I only found a Wireless network adapter. I didn't see anything about the Ethernet/LAN adapter. So, what should I do?
