Hi all.

I recently got a new modem-router combo from Spectrum (just 100Mbps plan) and now my connection speeds are awful. I generally use Ethernet, which I tested at speedtest.net and got 40 ping, 6 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. My previous router, I got great ethernet speeds (near 100) but our wifi was awful if you were even 1 room away. The first thing I tried was unplugging the ethernet cord from my desktop and testing the wifi speed, which got me about 90 Mbps down, so that told me it was an issue with the ethernet. However, since testing the ethernet speed again, the wifi speed when disconnected from ethernet is now giving me about 10 Mbps down. Great...

My drivers are up to date, my motherboard is less than 3 years old so the card shouldnt be the issue. I've tried disabling windows firewall, same result. My ethernet cable is about 10ft long, brand new, worked fine with my old router. The router-modem model I have now is Ubee DDW36C.

Another weird thing I noticed is that speedtest is connecting me to a Cincinnati Bell location for the test - I live in Lexington, KY and use Spectrum. The properties on my ethernet connection also show cinci.rr.com as the DNS domain name, not sure if that's normal or weird.

Here's what my Network Properties show:
